I don't think it's necessary. In my experience it's easier to approach and talk to girls I'm not 100% attracted to, so it may be easier to pursue her.

But i think there should be some real feelings otherwise you may hurt her feelings. Depends what you guys want

Something is wrong in your thinking. As a man, you can't be wishy-washy. Know what you fucking want or you will hurt the girl.

Secondly, it depends on your values. You might be very goal oriented person. As in, you only approach a girl if you like them enough to consider something long term a.k.a. something real. Which is probably the case here. Otherwise, you wouldn't be in a state of indecision and wouldn't be putting this much value in a decision. If this is the case, go for the kill on the one you want and work afterwards from there.

The PUA way would tell you to vibe with the girl that is interested in you. All women are replaceable so you can flirt with everyone as the idea of "the one girl" does not exist in the PUA world. What you are trying to find is the girl you click with. You have no agenda other than to interact with the girl and enjoy the dynamic and see where it goes, and make a decision after sex is over with. It doesn't mean that this is the right thing to do. It's just a different approach.

When you go in with an a specific goal with a girl, it can sometimes make you more stifled as you don't want to fuck up. When you go with the flow and don't put much importance in the interaction, you usually come off as cooler and more calibrated, but you end up in relationships that go no where, until you have sufficient skill to pull it off with the type of girl you want, which I think is a very good approach.

If you are below 30, I would recommend the PUA way.

Hey there, nothing wrong to be just sexually interested in a girl. But there’s a wrong way to do it and a good way to do it. The wrong way is to make her believe you really like her, sleep with her and then dump her. that’s the formula for breaking her hart. It’s bad. Stay away from this. The good way to do is the just date her like any other girl, but be upfront and honest about your intentions. Tell her you’re not looking for something serious at this point in your life. When do you tell her? Believe me there will be plenty of opportune times to tell her. Most likely at some point she’ll ask you why you are single. And you could say: “well at this point in my life I only have time for physical relationship”. You could even ad to this. “Still interested?” weather you say it like this or in an other way, doesn’t matter, but make sure she knows you don’t want any serious. You’d be surprised how many women are open to seeing you when you are upfront about this. Women want sex as much as men do.

I personally don't like hurting people, and you shouldn't either. Watch your steps, you never know when are those feelings finally gonna spark for her or if she could be a nice friend to have around.
