I often read advice on this subreddit to think about conversation topics that guys particularly wouldn't talk about in any other situation, like we have to put on an act as part playing the "game".

However, I personally am a person who can feel a lot more confident and calm when I have room to be sincere. If I am pretending to be more socially affable than I actually am, I become anxious when I have to back up my lie with substance, which isn't there. I can't think of conversation topics that I wouldn't normally talk about comfortably.

The extreme end of this is using 'talking to girls' as a conversation topic with the girls. I'm out here, working on my social skills, trying to learn the ropes even being a bit behind as a 24Male, what would the harm really be in saying that this stuff is new to me and that I am learning as I'm going? Does that kind of vulnerability work for some women or is the Cock of the Walk the one and only way to behave?
