So I'm talking to some tinder matches on Whatsapp, plus having a friend in real life, who all exhibit a similar trait. If I don't start a conversation, they never happen, but when they do happen they go well. On Whatsapp particularly we get to flirting and talking about our life goals and past relationships and important things like that, but I can go without a few days without a single 'hey'.

Same with my friend. We used to have a fairly equal level of back and forth conversation starting, but in the last few weeks if I'm not actively seeking conversations with her, they don't happen. But when they do, they're good.

I'm really trying to limit the amount of times I message a woman to prevent appearing needy, but I like talking to these people, because they're interesting and I want to know about them. Do I presume they just don't like to talk me as much, or is the onus on me as the dude to always lead the conversations where I want them to go?
