What's some good intermediate steps between holding eye contact and cold approaching?

Smiling, high-fiving, throwaway "hi," progression to sensuous/sexual eye contact, fun stuff like making silly faces if she holds EC. Whatever strikes your fancy at the time. Choosing a target-rich environment really helps since you have a ton of throwaways. If any of these hit, opening becomes a whole lot easier - she may even open you. In some cases it becomes more awkward not to say something. Master EC and approaches become something that just happens; you may not even be aware you're doing it.
