First of all, how can you love someone you haven't been with or known that long? No offense but that's ridiculous. If you think you love this person, you don't know what love is. (I know, cliched.)

Second of all, your female friends are right. Dropping her completely is going to be your best chance to get with this girl in the end. She seems to have an emotional attachment to you but right now you're just wasting your time. As much as I hate the phrase, "Man Up" and tell her you're not looking for more friends right now and it'd be best to just keep your distance. At that point, don't EXPECT more to happen - but it might! I say move on and reassess at a later date.

She has a fear of abandonment.

There's a book: 'loving someone worth borderline personality disorder'. I'm not saying she has the disorder, but people with that have: fear of abandonment, lack of sense of self, need for validation, act over-emotionally to their environment, feel shame.

Book will help you listen, acknowledge, and validate people like this.

How many dates do you have per month? Right now your life should be about achieving your goals. Why are you getting caught up with a girl who is not even helping you achieve your goals, and now you're getting stuck with her crying? C'mon. Focus on yourself!
