That may have been, "Can I come over to your house?" or "Do you want to come over my house?" if the both of you were hanging out with each other all day long. Ya already had a "night out" actually an "all day out".

A night out in The UK generally means going out drinking, either to bars and/or a club.

A night out means y'all go out Out of your houses at night and do something. See a movie, get drinks, see a concert etc. Probably the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "a night out" is going to bars or clubs, but it not a precise term. It's very broad and vague.

"What are you doing later tonight" implies she wants to see you more. Maybe she wants to go back to one of y'all she houses to bang, or maybe she wants to do more activities with you like get drinks. We don't have enough information to say what she wanted.

You don't have to over think this stuff. You can ask her what she has in mind or propose an option then see if she is interested. You don't have to guess correctly the what type of date she wants.
