I had a period of time when my logistics were totally fucked because I was living with an ex (don't cohabitate). I tried the hotel method with zero luck, but I did manage to have some success using an airbnb for a few weekends until I was able to find a new place to live. I just played it off like I was house sitting for a friend and they never questioned it. As a bonus, I actually ended up befriending the host which helped me get a decent discount on the place.

I offered to make a girl dinner at her place and that worked for me. Start looking for prospects at the store and spark up conversations about cooking, then off to make dinner. The Anova Sous Vide can make anyone look like a professional chef.

I usually like to negotiate the hotel room in the price, but to each their own. They usually aren't too picky. As long as they are getting paid ya know.
