Learned a valuable lesson last night about explaining failures with women to non-RP men and male hamstering.

A good friend of mine and I are leaving the bar last night. I go to close out my tab, and by the time I get outside, my buddy is in a cab with a girl. Now all my shit is at his house and I had to work early today, so I don't even think twice and hop in with them. I figure he is definitely taking this girl home to fuck, but he keeps mentioning her place and is basically giving her reasons NOT to come home with him ("Are you coming to my house or just going back to yours?"). I'm literally cringing in the front seat as he is doing this. Somehow, my buddy even manages to bring up the girl's ex in conversation. At that point, I knew he wasn't getting any. I even tried to revive the convo at that point to help him out, but he had already blown his chance. Long story short, the girl asks to be dropped at her house, throws us a few bucks, and leaves.

The minute she gets out of the cab, the hamstering begins. My buddy immediately places the blame on me, even though it was clear he convinced her not to go back to his house. As I try to rationally explain where he went wrong, he calls me a cock block, which is hilarious since he basically cock blocked himself. Even the cab driver was laughing at him. No matter how many facts I bring up to show him how he significantly lost frame, he still refused to believe it was his own fault. Wonder who he will blame when he does the same beta shit next time?

Moral of the story: You control your destiny. Don't blame others for your faults and failures. BP men will rationalize failure by blaming external forces ("I got cock blocked!") Do not be one of these men. Learn from your mistakes and use them to continue improving yourself.
