So I finally manned up and approached someone random girl on campus today who I have never seen, though it took some serious convincing to do so. I changed my daily routine, so I went to my first class and picked a random seat, which is a different place from where I usually sit. I was on time for the first part of the course in a while anyways. I look around and I see someone I find decently attractive sitting, on their computer waiting for the lecture. Didn't do anything for a few minutes, but then I said hi, and didn't introduce myself at first. So I used a opener about what was the topic for the lecture about, since I didn't have my laptop on me, and we went from there. It went decently and vibed enough that we talked about class related topics. However at the end of class, when she was leaving I mentioned that we should get coffee sometime. She politely declined, but didn't mention a boyfriend, so that's a rejection, which I fine and I said bye. This might seem like a short report, but since that's basically what happened saved going in depth in conversation.

So, how could I improve in the future? I didn't use any kino since we just met and it was in a classroom, wonder if not asking for a meetup in the future ruined my chances. Or if not saying I enjoyed this conversation, you seem cool we should hang out, instead of going directly to coffee as I was a bit nervous at this time. I kept decent eye contact, but I want to know if in the future making eye contact for a bit away before approaching could lead to a better interaction instead of suddenly turning to my side and talking to her. Anyways, I am going to approach again, and any ways of improvement, criticism and forms of advice are welcome.
