So first of all, you are mostly right.

One caveat I will add is this: sometimes when guys try to destroy the "nice guy" mindset they wing to the other extreme and because misogynist assholes.

The key is to become a confident guy with boundaries and realize that, even though men AND women have crazy subconscious desires, at the end of the day they are still people with logical desires and good parts too.

Ah man! I laughed at the (self aware) cringe of this story.

Couple quick not-favorite-memories of mine:

I asked a girl to be my girlfriend before I kissed her.

My first actual girlfriend (obviously a different girl) told me she liked me because I wasn't like all of her previous boyfriends who just wanted sex and she was happy she could take things slow with me. I remember being next to her thinking "Fuuuuu.."

A positive note to show progress:

Last weekend I met a girl at a bar and we decided she'd need to be choked and treated rough if it's going to work out long-term lol.

Loved the story. It's always fun looking back on those moments.

I wouldn't call it a "huge conspiracy", though, because most people aren't doing it on purpose. We certainly have to understand what advice to consider and what to brush off, but if we act like people who give us bad advice are doing it on purpose we'll end up on the far end of the spectrum and remain equally as socially inept.

Hahaha awesome story man. Something like that happened to me recently. I took advice from a friend (she's married) that would be my ideal girl if she wasn't married. My thought process was "if I like this girl, and she likes that, then this will attract other girls like her." Short answer - NO. Never took advice from her again (or any girl or guy for that matter). And yeah, I would summarize what you said about "HAVE IT in you" in being a man, handling your masculine energy, going for what you want, and be bold about it. This has opened many many "doors" for me (wink wink).

That was great, straight to the point and spot on. We have all had cringey moments I remember just having recently entered the world of hooking up with girls and i was om a tinder date as i drop the girl off at home she asks me if i wanted a coffee and i told her no thanks i don't drink coffee. I ended up getting with her 2 years later
