My female friend has asked me to party with her ? How to take the most of this opportunity ?

This had to be taken down, but I'll still answer it.

So in the past academic year I've had quite a few classes with this one girl. I knew at the start of the year she had a boyfriend but since then they've broken up. In the months preluding to examinations we spent quite a long time studying together, and you could tell at times we were getting a bit flirtatious together in the sense that we would get quite close and touchy at times and could sometimes hear it in her tone.

Look, if you've waited MONTHS after she became single, then you've probably been shooting yourself in the foot.

In the final few weeks of the year she suggested that after exams we need to party together sometime. I've suggested tomorrow night and I've got us added onto the guest list for a 'smart' nightclub, beforehand we'll have a drink at hers.

Sounds like she finally got tired of you not making a move. Or she's just a friend suggesting a good time.

Lads I need you to advise to me on how to make the right move on her.

First off, STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS AS IF THERE IS A "RIGHT MOVE." This is incorrect. All you need to do is start gradually escalating. Test her space bubble. Light touches. Edging into her space bubble. Pay attention to her reactions as you do these things. Her reactions tell you whether she likes what you're doing and if you should continue.

I'm guessing I need to move carefully and gradually once we're at the club gradually get closer with her but making sure to have fun if you know what I mean, and to see how she responds. Am I right ?
