How easy or hard is it to get laid while backpacking?

Long term back packer here, it’s hard work. But also the odds are more in your favour

Hard work because timings, you’re meeting people for a day or two max, sometimes a week but very rarely.

You’ve got to establish connection, sexualise and make her feel safe with you, in a very short time frame.

And do not forget that everyone’s already out of their depth so feeling safe with a stranger in a foreign country? Takes some doing unless you’re very good at building trust

The upside is, if you swing and a miss, there’s always another girl coming through. People are coming through all the time and it’s a lot more natural to strike up organic conversations

What I would also point out, is there’s a lot of women just not looking to hookup on the backpacker trail. I’ve had women look at me like they’re love drunk, but when making a move I’ve received a hard no.

A couple of times I’ve been close enough with these women to ask directly what’s the deal.

Universally when I’ve asked these women have said something along the lines of “I really like you, I very much would like to have sex with you, but I’m just not looking to hookup” -insert reason here sometimes-

You could say that someone else would be able to sleep with them, but honestly I’ve had women looking at me like they’re ready to tear my clothes off, hot horney and hungry for it. But when it’s actually come down to it they’ve flat turned it down. They’ve looked like they already regret doing so some of the time.

Some of these women have been the greatest connections. It’s the ones I didn’t hook up with that I still message every now and then, for advice, vibe checking of other women, or just all round emotional support.

If you set off looking to get laid, you’re probably gonna give off desperate vibes. If you set off to explore culture, learn language and develop as a person, women are gonna gravitate towards you anyway.

It’s a numbers game, just stay at hostels and keep moving every 2-3 days. Meeting dozens of new girls every day for a weeks on end makes it pretty much impossible to not get laid lol
