I made a post on here (that I probably deleted) a few months ago wondering why girls on Tinder would ghost me when I asked them on dates. So someone told me to be a little more aggressive (i.e. specific) when suggesting something to do. So I tried this, and it works. Only issue is I've been getting flaked on/ghosted non-stop. In over a month I've probably had somewhere around 10 dates all with different girls and they all ghosted/flaked. So I feel like it might be something I'm doing wrong...my best guess would be not building enough rapport? Here's basically the method I follow on Tinder/OkCupid (where most of the girls were from):

  1. Send them a good opener. Usually something funny. No issues here since I probably get a reply 75% of the time.

  2. Start a conversation around the opener.

  3. After maybe 5-7 messages back and forth, try to relate what we were talking about to a date. Then suggest a date and ask when they're free.

  4. Assuming the girl tells me when we're free, if I suggest a day/time I'm free too.

  5. Once date is sealed, ask them for their number.

  6. I wait until the night before the date to text them, usually. What's been happening is usually they just don't reply and they flake + ghost me, or they reply saying they need to reschedule. It's strange that a couple of them rescheduled but still flaked on me the second time. I even gave one girl a third chance after she had two excuses that seemed sincere, but even after agreeing to the date she just ghosted me. I left it alone after that.

Any help is appreciated.
