I have a severe disability. My best friend (now ex-best friend) has been atrocious and very much not supportive, which has affected me greatly. But I moved on. But now, while I've been stuck fighting for my life, he has become close with my younger sister (I included her in my parties, back before my accident. I introduced them). They are literally partying while I struggle day to day. She is very self-absorbed, and if I confront her on it, it'll go horribly.

It's hard enough facing a disability, but this has become too much for me to bare. I know I can't control people and I wouldn't even care, if there was some recognition of me. But there's not, it's like I'm invisible. I've been totally socially excluded at a time when I'm at my weakest, by two people who are friends because I included each of them in my social life. It's utterly disrespectful, and hurtful.

How can I stand up for myself in a situation in which both a) direct confrontation and b) just ignoring it won't improve it.
