One thing that boosted my confidence is to compliment random strangers. "Nice smile", "Gorgeous hair". You make their day, you give a sincere compliment and it makes you smile and kind of gives you the boost you need when approaching attractive people.

You know how to compliment strangers, walk up to her and use that sincere compliment - like OP said, you'll know if she's interested!

Great post. Guys need to take this stuff to heart because this is, for the most part, the way things are and the way they always will be.

Reminds me of something a girl said to me once that was really profound:

I was out at a bar alone, and decided to go talk to a random girl who was out with some friends. We had a good conversation and she ended up coming home with me. It was really easy, and she "helped me out" (by making it really easy) the whole way.

The next morning she was saying how she doesn't normally doesn't do that sort of thing. So I asked her why she did with me. Her response changed my life:

"Because you were the only guy there who had the balls to come talk to me."
