This is the thing that kills my spirit. When all the signs are there, the girl clearly likes you, you like her, and yet you didn't approach and you watch her walk away. All because in my mind I told myself some stupid story about waiting for the right time to approach, or negative stories about being judged by the girls and guys she's with. I decided that the key is to not wait for a perfect moment to approach. Let the approach be at an awkward time. Interrupt! The truth is there isn't a perfect time for anything, and if you try and wait for it you could miss the chance! Second, tell yourself a good story. Instead of "oh she's probably got a boyfriend" or "her friends are gonna laugh at me" or "I have no fucking clue what to say to her", tell yourself something like "shes looking for a boyfriend", "she will appreciate saying hello to me even if I run out of things to say, shes a sweet girl".

Thinking of the times I missed the chance absolutely kills confidence. However, i'm prepared now after going through that particular block.
