When the interactions are starting to get uncomfortable, instead of bailing and saying to yourself "I didn't get her number because it wasn't a solid interaction and she would have probably flaked."

End the interaction yourself and get her number.

"So, I really have to (finish shopping, get back to my friends, etc.) but you and I need to go on a date"

BAM!

Now look, if the interaction is TERRIBLE this is not going to work BUT especially for you guys that are newbie level and not getting laid.

You need to be raking in numbers and a lot of guys I talk to are not getting numbers at all and it's because they don't feel the interactions would have created a solid number.
