Dude. Tinder is a freaking hook-up app. Like people go there looking for casual sex. The impression you likely gave her was that you were rejecting her or freaked out because you knew of her in real life. Though luckily for you, she can't be sure of this, so you should still try for her if you want.

All the small talk you are referring to is actually not "small." Girls deal with a lot of awkward or overly aggressive guys who have little to no concern for what they (the girls) want. A lot of guys are creepy and push too hard, without paying attention to the feedback they give.

A.) So just have a conversation with her. And actively LISTEN to her. Like when she answers something you say/ask, you should be devoting all your brain power to taking it in. Information is power and if you want to get in there, you need to know the lay of the land. You need some sort of connection so you know how to escalate best.
B.) After you have a conversation with her, then invite her out to do something, one on one. Drinks. Dessert. Not dinner or lunch. Escalate during the date (which requires you pick a place where that can be done comfortably without it being weird).
C.) Then segue to going to your place. Provide an excuse. Maybe you have a bottle of something you need help finishing. Maybe there are YouTube videos that should be watched on your TV. Old Game of Thrones episodes, whatever. At this point, once you're at your place or hers, then escalation could easily go to sex.
D.) And AFTER all that, then if you only want sex, after a few times meeting up with her, you need to have the Talk with her. James Marshall gives a great talk about this.

There's this scene where nash (the main protagonist) approaches a girl in a bar, and says something like "i know you expect me to follow social norms by saying certain things to you so you decide to have sexual intercourse with me, so let's consider i have already done that, and we skip that part to get to the exchange of bodily fluids, what do you say?" well... if you seen it, you know what happens (hint, it doesn't yield the desired results).

Basically the chances are slim that this approach will work. In our society most women care about their social status and don't want to be considered easy, or a slut for following their biological desires without proper "mating rituals".
