Not hated by anyone

You are not hated but still not loved by anyone. You always feel like everybody admires you and respects you so much but somehow nobody tries to get closer to you on a personal level men or women. You somehow feel left out. Everybody gets excited if you join but nobody seems to care enough to invite you.

I was like this and it is not easy. I improved it a bit by opening up little by little to people. I started telling them things about myself; what I like, what I hate, my hobbies, some stories from my past, etc.

The problem is you appear to be too perfect for people to really connect with you. Try to show more vulnerability.

I wouldn't advise a course of action that leads you to attempting to become more hated!

Instead, in each situation you find yourself, ask yourself 'how close am I to expressing myself honestly?'

What many men find is the more attractive the woman gets, the harder they find it to 'be themselves'. They either try too hard or they become too shy.

You'll find that if you express yourself honestly, there will be moments when you're controversial, because your view will differ from the norm. And there will be moments when you fit in the crowd.

I haven't read the book, but I wouldn't start with trying to be hated by anyone. Instead, try to focus on what you want and having the confidence to do it. It's about having the confidence to do what you want, and doing it without shame or fear, because you are doing it for yourself and truly feel that you deserve it. You can do this without being a douchebag. You can do it with consideration for others. But when you learn to be empowered like this, there are always people who will hate you. This is just how people are.

Do things for yourself. Be confident that you deserve it. Be genuinely considerate, but realize that some people, you will be unable to accommodate. They will be the ones that may end up hating you.

Lemileon, you have to remember that everything written in a book/guide is not a steadfast rule, does not have to happen for you to succeed, and may not even be true.

He says that for one to have true confidence and be attractive needs to be polarizing. He states that a polarizing man will be hated by some in order to be loved by others

He uses the word "hate" figuratively. The main point is that you will polarize when you are not bending over backwards to anyone to make them happy, which is the true intention here. Polarize means in this case, that you will make some people dislike your behavior/what you say, and others love that. Imagine you are going out and going for a girl you want, in the way you want. being forward. Some women/men will try to shame you for that, because it is against their own societal norms, while others will look up to you in awe, thinking what a badass you are for not being scared and not giving a fuck about what others think or say.

If you are truly confident you will know what i am talking about, and you will have experienced that before.

Most people are not hated. Not being hated is the default. I would gues that you are somewhat boring. People do not get enough info to shape an honest opinion about you. It is not positive to be hated in itself and you should not aim for it but it is a common byproduct for actually expressing your true self, which you are probably not showing.
