In a case where you had oneitis or just really liked a particular woman, how long did you pursue her before you either gave up or she agreed to go on a date?

I know sometimes a woman simply isn't interested and it's just a waste of time in the end. But I like to hear about people who occasionally succeeded after being persistent, as it gives some hope to others.
