I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you're actively pursuing women, getting sexual, and then hearing lots of them use that word while turning you down/rejecting you, I don't think it means anything. If anything, you overreacting to it could be worse.

That said, if you're worried that people don't take you seriously or see you sexually, there are things you can do. Wear the suit more! Work out, maybe take up a more stereotypically masculine hobby (if you enjoy such things), be more confident and flirty in conversation.

Also, the blushing is a huge sign that they're not calling you cute in the same way they'd think of a baby or a puppy. Just sayin'.

Being cute is fine, being sexy is fine, being manly is fine, being feminine is fine, as long as there's women out there that like it.

I'm 34 years old and until recently I had a big ass man beard. I'm muscular and 6 ft tall. I still get called cute.

I shaved to stubble recently, I get called sexy more often, but I still get called cute.

"Cute" is just a general term for "attractive" - it is usually is a good thing.

You are only 17, you are not going to be some manly man. As you grow to 20, 25, 30, etc. you get manlier...

The good news is that most 17-year-old girls are looking for just normal teenage guys like you. There are millions of teenage girls in the world looking for a "cute" guy at this very moment... (If you are too "cute" for 17 year olds who might want college-type uys (like 18, 19 year old guys) maybe search for slightly younger dates like 16-year-olds or 15-year-olds who want a more cute look).

Own who you are. Embrace who you are. You are a "cute" guy that is looking for a "cute" girl. Don't be ashamed.

Stop worrying about labels and just practice, practice, practice with women. Flirt with girls. Ask them on dates. Go to the movies. You will fail a lot but you will succeed occasionally. For example, ask 10 girls out. 6 say no thanks. 4 say yes. 1 doesn't show up. You have 3 dates. 1 is borning. You 2 good dates. You sleep with both. You date 1 for a year.
