I recommend joining a frat only if you’re willing to spend the money on it. You have better access to sorority girls through formals/mutual friends. + more access to parties = more/better opportunities.

I’d say you’re at a disadvantage only in the sense that you’re not maximizing your social potential in college. However you don’t need to join Greek life to get laid. Join clubs, make conversation with class mates, go to bars, etc.

Frats are masonic institutions you are better off staying away from them. I never joined a frat yet still had no problem dating sorority girls, because all you have to do is talk to them.
