Sorry, Seddit! I know I have probably been posting too often about minor issues that don't even deserve any attention. I'm just too inexperienced so I have to ask even in such trivial situations. Not so long ago I asked the community about how I can improve myself and told the story of my latest and worst date until the present day. We hadn't even seen each other or talked until I wrote her to send my New Year best wishes. She answered the message and that was it.

Yesterday, however, she wrote me a message just as if everything was okay. I didn't see it right away, but I did answer the message in 30 or 40 minutes. In spite of frequent appearing on Facebook, she didn't even bother to open my message and finally read it only in the evening. Predictably enough, there has been no answer as of now.

My question is why write a person in the first place if you are not even interested in reading their answer?

Well, of course, my answer was probably not that great with no questions, humor or anything. Anyway, this a thing I can't understand.

I do realize how needy my waiting for her response is. Truth is, I sincerely congratulated her like all other friends of mine without any second thoughts.

I won't lie, I still find her very attractive and interesting, but I also understand that after all the failures my chances of seeming such a person to her are non-existent.

That said, I can't understand the motive behind her message. It's especially hard to understand considering that I personally only write familiar people for two reasons:

1) This is related to work

2) I'm interested to talk to this person (including my friends and family)

What else could it be?
