Last summer I met this girl at a pub. We didn't talk much but I was sitting at a table with her and her friends. I was mostly talking to her friend but every time I looked at her she would wink at me. It was crazy. She was biting her fingers and flipping her hair. I've never seen a girl act like this before. I added her on facebook a couple days after that and I messaged her to come out or she would message me to go out, but everytime one of us was busy. Keep in mind this girl is like an 8, extremely rare that a girl like this is ever interested in me.

Then after like 1.5 months of not messaging each other I crossed paths with her on campus. She took out her phone and started looking at it and I could tell she was avoiding me(later she tells me she was avoiding me because she was wearing sweats). I tapped her on the shoulder and we said hi and parted ways. A couple days later she messages me on facebook and says "hey are you done with finals? We should go out soon". I replied that "i have one on monday, I might go out tonight but idk yet" to which she replied "im probably going to chill tonight but heres my number if you decide not to go out tonight and do something tomorrow instead ######". So clearly she is interested

So I text her and basically invite myself to her place and we just watch a movie and drink wine. It was clear she didn't want me to make any moves as she put a pillow between us. We hug and I go home

Two days later she invites me to a bar with her and her friend. Her friend meets up with her date and we all sit at a table and drink old fashioneds. It all goes ok, I probably could have been more social but the music was loud and it was the end of a long and stressful semester. I know this girl is trying to take things slow so I didn't touch her all night except rub her on the shoulders like one time.

My apartment is located like 2 blocks from hers so we just uber to her apartment. And this is where things went kind of awkward due to my inexperience (23 year old virgin). We get out of the car and hug and I look down and she is giving me the signal to kiss her. I have only had like 3 or 4 drunken kisses with random bar sluts up until now, so i really have no idea how to give a good kiss. I panic and give her a quick kiss but i know it was awkward as shit because she said "wait i wasn't ready". So I give her another kiss and it still didn't feel right. I quickly give her a peck on the cheek and start walking towards my apartment and I say "stay in touch, ill be back in january". She says "yeah" semi enthusiastically, but I could tell she was disappointed in what just happened.

The next day I leave town for the holidays and we dont text at all over the break. I got back this week and on wednesday I texted her "In town?" and 48 hours later she hasn't responded. (I know she is in town)

This seriously hurt me and I have been extremely anxious over the last 2 days as I was at least expecting her to give me another chance and not just abruptly stop contact with me. If it was any other girl it wouldn't be a big deal but we have been trying to hangout for 6 months and we both seemed very interested in eachother. Is there any way for me to redeem myself without coming off as needy?
