Here's a list of things to keep on mind but not to stress about:

Know how to wear a condom. Its not as easy as it sounds for beginners. The first few times, I put it on in the wrong direction.
Practice which condom fits and feels well. Thank god for my homemade fifi, I was able to find the perfect condom brand that feels great, fits well, and doesn't choke my dick.
