TL;DR: New to dating, seduction, etc. and wondering what to expect going to the bar alone, or if its even a good idea.

Hey guys! (and gals!) So, I've been a lurker here for a few months since I discovered this sub after being suggested I read a book from a friend I made on reddit called "Models" by Mark Manson. I'm sure you all know about it since I see it brought up quite often. I'm new into this after being left by my long term ex about a half year ago, and have read a lot of advice. I've had a good 5-6 dates and two girls who I ended up seeing more than once as short flings, but most of those interactions came from Tinder or mutual friends.

I would like to say I can talk to girls well and can meet new people somewhat easily, as I keep making new friends and trying new things. However, since most of my buddies are in relationships or not old enough to go, I find myself wanting to go to the bar to either just have a good time, meet people, or try approaching girls.

So, my question here is: what's your opinions on going solo to the bar? There's some great bars downtown where I live with lots of people my age (early 20's), and I always have a great time with friends and mingle well. I'm just not sure how it would be with me going alone. I guess I'm not sure what to expect when I go out by myself exactly. What do you all think on this?

I'm not sure if its necessary to include, but I live in my own apartment and am about to be a senior in college.
