You can’t be romantically interested in someone and be friends with them from my experience. What happens when they finally date someone else? You say you’re ok with that, but what about when it actually happens?

You do have to move on, she’s not interested because if she was, she would’ve made it clear since you’ve dated already.

I messaged her later and told her that my friend showed me the messages and I still think of her more than a friend but I'm not going to wait around for her and If she does come around then cool if not it's no big deal.

This is sort of the opposite of how you would do it.

She told you, and then told your friend she just wants to be friends. How do you know this? But you want to try and go for the rejection, and I respect that, but you have to be ok with the next rejection if it comes, you know? At some point you have to move on, to when do your move consider it sort of your last shot.

Yeah dude, any chance you had at trying to lay down the moves you literally just killed by telling her you see her as more then a friend.

Generally, I don't really buy in to "game" and "powershift" (I personally believe just being your honest/best self is the best game you could have) but in this case you literally killed any sort of tension/mystery by telling her your intentions and not showing them.

Actions speak louder then words, but when you use your words first you already set the stage (and in this case it's a pretty poorly lit one)

And how do you know shes interested? You're assuming she is just because she didn't immediately shut you down. Always assume attraction, sure, but you already laid your cards out before she even hinted at showing her hand.
