Really depends on the size of your class. Colds in high school will often bite you in the ass.

First problem: word gets around. Kids love drama. High-school aged people are often not mature enough to handle cold approaches, as it’s foreign substance to them. Very high chance you’ll be labeled as a creep, just trying to get your dick wet. Harsh truth, unfortunately.

I was in high school not too long ago. Graduating class of ~250. If I cold approached a girl I didn’t know well, I guarantee 100 people would know within the next two hours, thanks to Snapchat.

Second problem: high school really does circle around an invisible hierarchy. There’s a reason why hot bitches only date the football team QB, or wrestling star. It’s all about status. If you don’t have an established positive reputation, you’re basically fucked. Again, harsh truth.

Keep in mind outside of high school, none of this is true.

Cold approach but not direct and don't go for the number in the first approach. Just have a nice fun interaction with some light flirting then leave. You go to the same school, you can always go back and talk to her again to build it up more.

Try doing that with tons of girls or just tons of people in your high school in general so you'll just be seen as a friendly guy which will make the girl you like more comfortable talking to you because it can be kinda weird when she's the only one in your school that you talk to outside your classmates or circle of friends.

At that point you wont even need her number until you have a date set up. You can just game her whenever you see her at school. Its way better than having to game her via text.
