This place is loaded with fixation on status. Of course this is a natural byproduct of living in a bullshit materialist society, but I'm saying to you: Think twice before you compare. It's the ticket to your doom, not to your victory.

Every time you see a thread that goes like "I'm 25 and never been on a date" the author always qualifies it with something like, "But I've got a Masters and most of the way to 6 figures at this point" or "I've a large social circle and a great car" or whatever.

Stop doing that. Stop padding your stats, whether it's too boost yourself up because you can't get ass, or whether it's because you have toxic pride and you believe it's the reason you ARE getting women... the ol', hey look at my great education, high-paid career, dope life... "be like me. Measure up to what women want. If you can't compete in society, forget it--pay the escorts." That. Don't listen to that guy. Whether he gets all the women he wants or not, he's an idiot and he's using a subtle (but perhaps, sadly effective) trick to affirm his status.

I want all of this to stop. For those of you obsessed on this stuff, do you really think that if "most guys around you are making at least 30k more per year"... that you have to catch up and only then, you're worthy of getting action? Do you really think that "my friend who gets the women he wants, has a lot of social connections and I don't" so what are you going to do, talk to everyone you see and hope the word spreads, so you have "more access to higher quality women"? (Not to mention how annoying the "better quality" women label really is; as if you can rack up more points on a machine and expect prettier girls to emerge in the tray below. Wrong and either way, degrading.)

Do you see, at its base, how stupid this thinking is? The answer: Stop doing it.

Yes, you can be past 25 and living a shittier life than you ever imagined possible, when you were 15 years old and starry-eyed.. and STILL get women. But the only way to do that, when you've got challenges, is to STOP comparing yourself to others. Even if literally EVERY guy you know has "much more to offer" I want you to stop feeling inferior.

You have to like yourself. And you can do that even if you suck or you've got few of the skills "expected of a man" and can't hope to learn, can't hope to socialize in groups effectively, can't do this or that. So what? You're still here. Life just chose you to suck at all the conventional stuff. How about you try to be unconventional and do your best? And for that, women will find you interesting enough to give you a chance.
