Yet another "discovery" that has been used years and years ago, you can simply ask Hey so how do you two know each other? Comes off way less smug and if she is single you've shown a lot better social awareness if you're not into going the cocky funny route.

I like it, think it could work great. My only concern (small) is I feel like if she doesn't know how she feels about him yet, and you still have a chance with her, it COULD push her more towards him and away from you.

But most likely, it'll go one way or the other like you said.

Instead of going sexual as an opener, asking them if they’re related (brother-sister, Cousins) will garner the same results, and if you get negative feedback (“we’re boyfriend-girlfriend fuck off”) it’ll be a lot softer as you didn’t ask a relationship based question.

If they respond positively where it’s yes or no (“nah lol we’re dating”, or “yes! How can you tell??”) you can easily follow up with being able to sense their chemistry or how similar they look & push from there.

Was traveling to Bulgaria the other day and saw a cute girl sitting and chatting with a guy, wondered if they where together, in the end I just went up and asked directly if they where together, they said no and I turned to the girl and said it was good, cause I tough she was very cute and had to come over, she laughed and we talked and in the end I got her Facebook.
