Not really sure where to start, but I know this is going to be quite negative.

For a few years now I've been attempting to get into the dating scene or at the very least have casual encounters, but I've come up short every time. As an attractive, social, intelligent guy with his life together you would think I'd have enough going for me to get my foot in the door, but throughout this time I've pretty much had no luck with the opposite sex whatsoever. My ways of meeting women have varied on and offline, but no matter what I'm unable to develop any sort of intimate relationship with them, assuming I'm even given a chance as I get so few matches on dating apps and such.

Therapy, friends and family, online sites, dating coaches and the like have often given me consistent, positive feedback which doesn't match my experience, but I'm far from looking like the Elephant Man, having the lifestyle of a troglodyte and having the social skills of a rock.

I'm generally not a negative person, usually very positive, but this is the one area of life I fail at miserably and it is getting me down, especially when many surrounded me have no difficulties. It's got to the point I had to cut off porn completely as I was using it as a coping mechanism, and have contemplated seeing escorts.

Any advice on how to cope?

**TL;DR** I've been trying to date / have sex for the last four years and haven't succeeded, despite the fact I have a lot going for me. At this point I feel undesirable to women and I don't believe I ever will be.
