Pretty much the title.
I was at a little cafe/restaurant today during my cycling training lap (cycling is a tough sport). Anyway, never went there before and was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was cute and we made powerful eye contact straight away, including some gazing and locking eyes everytime she walked around again. Lot's of visual connection.
Flirted and joked around a bit, and when I payed I thought about asking her out or something, but I felt it was better not to.
In hindsight I could've made the comment on the receipt, if her number was on there or something. This would've kept it light, it just wasn't what was on my mind that moment.
But is this something we should do? Waiters and waitresses are paid to be nice to us. And cute girls who know they're cute will make it a game to flirt, which it is. But I feel (or want to feel) like there was more to it.
I like to do everything I do in way that prevents awkward situations later on. I want to be able to see those persons again, so I do everything with dignity and knowing that I agree with my actions.
So my question: flirting with waitresses is super easy and fun, but is there a way to get more out of it?
