It was 5pm on Friday evening, I was supposed to pick up a girl I been seeing to a date from work. As I went down my office to get a quick snack food nearby while waiting for her. I saw this cute adorable petite girl with huge ass. I immediately got attracted.....

So right off, there's a potential issue in mindset. You shouldn't be dropping everything like that, at the first sign of some ass. Especially not when you have plans.

I get it. Game is fun and you're kind of in Pokemon mode right now. (Gotta catch 'em all)

But dropping everything like that for a random girl, shows some problems:

You're caught up in the thrill of the hunt, and the people are interchangeable.
Your priorities are negotiable if you are something shiny and distracting at that moment.
You're basically an addict at this point. Your date could pass by any moment, but you were still compelled to engage in behavior that could have led to that date and this little encounter both blowing up in your face.
Why risk it? Because you saw an ass. And let's be real here. There's plenty of asses in the sea so you were basically doing it for nothing.
Are you seriously saying that you're even circumventing what you actually want (a basic need like hunger), just for a random girl you literally know ass about?

These ways of thinking and acting are signs of the sort of addiction that Style suffered from and had to seek therapy for. It shows signs that you'll sell out even fundamental things like meeting Basic Needs, to get a hit from random girls who are interchangeable to each other.

Couple things here:

If you see "no idea" how to approach, then you're thinking too much. There's usually a lot going on, especially in a public place, that you have things you could open with, based on the current situation, rather than a standard pick-up line that you recycle over and over again.
Starting a conversation with someone in a checkout line, is only as weird as you make it. If you're paying attention instead of freaking out, then you'll have material to work with that you could easily open with.

I'm going to suggest to you that this wasn't "experience" winning out.

What actually happened in this moment is partially that your addictive mind won that battle against common sense when you convinced yourself that you needed to forget about getting food, forget about your date, etc, all for someone who, let's be real here, won't matter in a short time anyway, regardless of the outcome.

While this was pretty good, it didn't work because you "called out the elephant in the room." You weren't calling attention to some glaring thing that you both knew. You were playfully complimenting her and you drew from something truthful to do so. That authenticity helped the compliment land.

Your kino was more than enough. This was a first meeting.

And honestly, you came strong enough, possibly too strong, though that won't be obvious until you see what happens when you try to set up a meet with this girl later.

As for her "compliance," girls will go along with a lot of things, just to avoid awkward situations. There are enough guys out there who don't take rejection well. So to avoid a messy public scene, girls will go along with a lot just to get through the situation.

You figure out if she's actually into the interaction, by leaving space for her to show her own desire.

No. Cold reading is a parlor trick. You're taking stabs in the dark and basically flipping a coin as to whether you sink or swim. And even if you succeed, it's a false victory.

Say you're correct about a guess you make while cold reading? Then she thinks it's because you were paying attention. Only it really wasn't, and that will become obvious as you continue through the interaction and can't adequately account for why you made the guess you made.
Say you're incorrect, well then it's obvious that you're just taking stabs in the dark.

Just focus on observation. And asking questions or making comments based on what you observe. Not the assumptive questions that are the hallmark of cold reading, which can bite you in the ass whether you get it right or not.

You almost get at the issue here.

You realize that you placed too much importance on her, but stop short of the realization that you're a little too ready to drop everything, even your plans or basic needs like hunger, just for a quick hit from some girl you don't even know.
And you oddly think that you aren't going far enough, when the opposite is true. You're already engaging in risky enough behavior. You think you need to be "more sexual," etc., when you're already coming on way too strong, chasing a girl down and feeding her what you think she wants to hear, with intense eye contact.

Were you expecting to be fucking some girl in the bathroom when she was bringing groceries home and you were already meeting someone there in a few minutes?

"Flaked?" No one flaked. You didn't have a date with her. You had just met her and got a phone number. You took it about as far as you could have, given the circumstances.

So let me get this straight, you followed her to approach her? Don’t do that again. General social rule if someone is busy, you wait. Your post makes you sound extremely socially awkward. Why would you ask if she’s sabahan or anything to that degree? Rule one with women, less is more.

What I think I did right

What I did wrong

this only makes your scenario awkward and most likely the reason she flaked.

-Trying to make her laugh, while perhaps the better way at my current level is to create more sexual tension. *maybe look more deep into her eye refraining back to your eye is very distracting*

weird thing to say, don't stare it makes people uncomfortable.

My change of strategy this time will be having 2 days at least to solely focusing on mass approach. other day I will only do sniper approaches. "Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different result" if you want result, change the way you approach woman. Even that means changing current way of you learning pickup.
