I'll see threads on here, "I'm a 25 year old guy, had a great college education, 6'2", good looking.. still a virgin, despite much effort" and I like to think to myself "well I'm only average looking, and a complete and utter loser, older, autistic, no status or money.. if that guy can't get any, I certainly don't stand a chance."
That is my USUAL tendency. But today I realize how foolish that is. Comparisons--or at least comparisons like that--don't mean shit. Do not assume just because a guy who is a "traditional winner" can't get any, that you cannot. Do not accept the fallacy of negative and comparison-based thinking. Looking at myself and realizing I would have gotten laid many times by now if I actually tried--instead of bashing myself into the ground--you guys should learn from my example.
A great percentage of what it takes to get women is a simple thing, actually, it's just very hard to pull off. It's this: stop the negativity and stop the comparisons. It may even be the most important thing overall.
Do not listen to fools here who say "get your steady career FIRST, get your social circle FIRST, and then approach women." After all, some of us may not be able to have such things.
Instead, do THIS first. Stop hating yourself and stop comparing yourself to others. Do that FIRST.
After that you just have to try and persist.
