So I'm going to speak about it.

The power of the mind is both terribly underestimated and painfully underutilized. Mentality and belief would be the practical terms for it. Lots of people try to do things without at the very least analyzing and understanding their beliefs and outlook on life.

You can't go try to approach girls if you think they're all nasty, conniving, slutty cunts that will stab you in the back and steal your money at the first chance they get. These things simply don't go hand in hand. Well... you can do it but do you really think your results will be good?

Your thoughts and your actions need to be in harmony to get the most out of your actions.

Your thoughts about yourself are also huge and can be very very dangerous. If you remind yourself every day that you're worthless, incompetent, unattractive and a very unwholesome piece of shit then what exactly do you expect? You'll feel like shit and your actions will be stained by these thoughts.

Lots of dudes walk into pickup and other facets of personal development with a begrudging attitude. And then complain when they don't get results. Yeah half assing your gym time and thinking it's a huge waste of time will yield subpar results at best. Going into every social interaction with a "Ugh just get it over with" will also yield subpar results at best.

You can't just do a thing and expect it to work when you don't believe in the thing or yourself. You're swimming against the current and the current is a helluva lot stronger than you are. Or even better, you're spitting against the wind during a storm. You're a fucking idiot in other words.

I mean am I wrong? Fuck no. I'm 100% correct. You need to believe in yourself and your actions. If you take every step with the doubt that you'll fall over, well you probably will. Or you'll just bump your stupid nose into a light post because you were so worried the sidewalk was going to cave in.

I'm not saying, don't be nervous or don't be worried. You can be. That's what courage is all about. Action despite fear. But believe in your actions and that they will take you where you want to be. Because they will. You just need to believe in them. You need to coat every action in certainty and confidence. It may be hard to but you gotta. And sorry, buds. There is no magic pill or step by step to becoming confident. There are popular methods but everything starts by buying into it. If you think pickup or exercise are BS then good luck with your results because they ain't gonna be very good.

And besides, it's pretty painful to be negative all the time. Don't @ me with that "I'm realistic" bullshit. You can look at things in a realistic way but still be positive about the possible outcomes. Why would you choose to shit on yourself and other people when you could instead be positive and uplifting. No one wants to be around a nihilistic shithead that brings the rain to the beach party.

I get it, being negative is painful but you can get used to it and even get off on it. But being positive is spooky. Because now when you see a hot babe you don't go "Oh fuck it, she won't like me anyway". Now you go "It's scary but I gotta know" and therefore you gotta bite the bullet and throw yourself into the abyss of uncertainty.

Making a valiant effort to wrench your mind into a positive state is hard and requires a lot of self awareness. You need to actively pull your mind out of the gutter and into the clouds. You need to force yourself to go "Yeah you know what? Fuck that. Maybe there's something there and I gotta find out. I gotta keep my chin high."

It also creates opportunities and openings that are by nature scary. Now you're not turning your back because you set it in your mind that it won't work. Now you're standing face to face with the thing and it freaks you the fuck out because you know there may be something there. And the may is terrifying because it's unknown. You don't know if it will work but you know that it can work.

It's scarier to be positive. It just is. But you owe it to yourself to believe because if you don't, hang up your gloves and go home, bud. We're in a place of self development and that place is spooky because there is a lot of open doors with a whole lot of unknown behind them. That's just the nature of this whole shebang. It's spooky. It's unknown. It's the unlocking of things you never knew were there. When I found out about this whole seduction thing I just went "You can just talk to girls who are complete strangers?"

And for better or for worse we've all seen behind the curtains. We don't get to go back to our ignorant little lives because we KNOW what we could do and not doing it will tear us apart. So we got a mountain of shit behind our back and a garden of nothing but thorny bushes in front of us.

So you have three options. And they're the only ones:

  • A - Go back. Just give up. You see the garden of thorns and you just don't wanna deal with that. You wish you could just fly right past it but you know you can't so you just give up. You go back to your life of mediocrity, knowing you're a coward. Knowing you could've been so much more. But it was all bullshit after all, right? You got rejected once and you just couldn't handle it. It was too much. You couldn't steel yourself. You poked your finger on a thorn and it made you bleed out. You slink back to your old ways. You dose yourself up on all the wonderful technology born stimulants and live your life knowing you failed to believe. You failed to trust yourself and your path. It was stupid after all. It wasn't for you. But you will always know, in the back of your mind that you simply pussied out.

  • B - Stand there. Just stand and never make a decision. Sit in your limbo of uncertainty. You want to but you can't muster the courage to make the decision to go forward. Yet you also know that going back is stupid. You had a taste of your shitty mediocrity and you don't want it. But you also lack the resolve to move forward and take the hits. You will always be stuck. Your mind will always fluctuate between can and can't. You will never be sure of what to do because while you know that going back is stupid, going forward is too scary. Too painful. You will hate yourself for your uncertainty. Why you keep failing to make that crucial, game breaking move.

  • C - You can choose to believe in yourself, grit your teeth, clench your fists and make your way through the thorns. Knowing in your breast that there is treasure and beautiful flowers on the other side. But even without that you will have the confidence of knowing that you braved those fucking thorns and you came out better. You will be a better man. A man who knows more and fears less. A man who smiles more than he frowns. One who laughs more than he cries. Who bangs more than he jerks. A happier man that braves his journey instead of running away from it. You just needed that one little move.

And since I'm already getting so artsy I might as well go the full sixty nine yards and hit you with a verse from a song that I feel is very relatable.

Everything has been said before. Still you hesitate, asking for more. If I tell you your doubt is all in your head. Does it make a difference the life you lead? Fist will break against the wall, puzzles we all try to solve. You float in space lost to everyone. Reach out and finish what you have begun. Fist will break against the wall, puzzles we all try to solve. You float in space lost to everyone. Reach out, embrace the loaded gun.

No strain. No Pain. No Pain. No Gain.

It's simple. Believe in yourself and your actions. Force yourself to think positive. Don't give in to poisonous thoughts and mentalities.

Cheers, motherfuckers.
