I live in Asia too but not Japan — however I did have a weekend fling while in Japan last year for a summer rock festival. Met her on the bus to the festival by offering her gum and we exchanged info. Met up the next day and I went in for a kiss while we watched The XX play. I actually wasn't even trying to hook up with her — just initially making small-talk and it led into some crazy nights together.

Honestly, it was the same as talking to any girl, even with our limited communication.

However, I never go to clubs and despite being a pretty good dancer, I hate clubbing. However, if I was going, I don't think a few dances would be enough of a connection to have a girl want to sleep with me. I'd probably ask her if she wants to talk outside or go to a bar afterwards to hangout where we could hear each other talk.

I actually don't agree with the speaking Japanese part in FULL. A lot of top guys just use google translate and non-verbals. Women are the same man, even when there are differences.
