I'm new to this forum. The things I read here seem excellent. But my advice for this post isn't about the women. It's about your friends. Most people here are looking to raise their social value, improve their techniques, look the part. But I know for me personally one area that I overlooked was my friends.

Are the people you are surrounding yourself with more successful than you or less?

I'm not saying you have to not be friends with your buddy just bc he lost his job. Or is down on his luck. But if most of your friends are not successful. Or if they aren't actively pursuing bettering their lives (college, career, etc) then you will lose some motivation to better yourself. It's just too easy to give yourself a pass for not being "like that guy".

If you surround yourself with people that are either successful or on the path towards it, those people will motivate you in the correct ways. You'll see the things you need to work on much more clearly and you'll be positively driven to better yourself.

So if you're trying to figure out how to better yourself, look at your social circle and see what you've surrounded yourself with. If you are honest with yourself and don't like what you see but you don't wanna make changes of that nature. You need to ask yourself what level of success you are willing to have for your own life. Not everyone needs to conquer the world. Some people are content with less. If you're happy. Stay happy. But if you want more, if you want to elevate your game you have to be willing to part with the company you keep that isn't.
