I'll try keep this brief. This week there's been some top post highlighting a key point:

girls just want to have fun

I had an experience recently. Was out with new friends, 1 other guy and 2 girls. I was into one. Other guy is naturally loud, confident and funny. I'd say fairly confidently I'm better looking (but we are pretty much the opposite type hard to compare).

I wasn't feeling it too hard, and I didn't know the area, so I allowed them to take me out. They were the fun, the other guy was the fun. I was selfish and just went along for the ride.

The girl I was into was super into this other guy, but he got way too drunk and missed out. She ended up going home with a guy she met at the club. I left before that cause I stopped enjoying myself when the two girls started hitting on other dudes, go figure.

I shouldn't tried harder to get us somewhere I could show my worth, but I didn't want to try.

Tl;dr: bring the fun yourself.
