One thing I have trouble understanding with TRP is that it says that men can love a woman unconditionally but not vice-versa. What proof is there for this? In my experience, nobody loves unconditionally.

When I researched it, people explained this by saying that men are more sacrificial when they're in love. Okay, but sacrificial =/= unconditional, so that's not the point, right? Or is "unconditional" simply bad wording?

People also explained this by saying that men were less likely to leave a woman, but that's still beside the point because loyalty =/= love. Maybe men leave less just because they're scared of divorce rape.

So can men really love a woman no matter what? Even if she was a nice skinny girl initially and then she turned into a fat shrew?

Love = an exceptionally deep connection to a person that motivates wanting their physical affection, sacrificing for them and vicariously feeling their pain/happiness.

Another thing that I don't understand very well is that TRPers often say "she doesn't love you, she loves the way you make her feel", how is that different from the way men love? Doesn't a man love a woman, because she makes him feel good too?

Another thing lots of TRPers say is "she doesn't love you, she loves what you represent (your strength, the fact that you provide) once you're no longer able to provide, she loses attraction". How does that differ from men? Don't men love the beauty/nurturing their woman "represents" and lose attraction once she stops providing that?

I understand that women and men are not attracted to the same things, but it seems to me that both men and women lose attraction once their partner stops having the trait that initially made them attracted, so men's love is not in fact "unconditional".

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. Please enlighten me.
