It is going to depend on a lot of different things. Are you both in the same group of friends? Are you able to just be friends after dating her? Are you happy to still / just be her friend after after dating her? You need to think about yourself first. If she can make you happier by being in your life as only a friend then ‘yes it’s cool what we had’. If she will make you sad then say ‘I don’t want to be friends’ ~~as I got enough friends as it is~~. (Don’t say the last bit because you do not need to justify your actions)

I tell her, having a female friend is like having an appendix, it serves no purpose, do you think it's a coincidence I have no female friends?
