BACKGROUND:

I am 19, Indian with a curly afro. I'm quite thick but i workout so my body is quite built. I live in Singapore where approaching a random stranger is considered a sin.

So I used to do "pickup" a few months ago but it was just me doing EXTREMELY safe approaches. Asking a random question and leaving which i somehow got 3 numbers from. But i realised that by being to safe and not taking risks i havent gotten any success. Therefore i started doing very direct approaches.

Since I am still pretty shit at establishing intent with any females i have started by walking up to girls and saying "Hey i think your very hot" and eject to make myself comfortable establishing the frame cause i suck at it.

So today on my way to work, I decided to just be as social as possible, I talked to 4 different guys on my way to work. Then at the train station there was a 6/7 going up the escalator. Even though i didnt found her hot i decided "Fuck it", and i just approached her at the top of the escalator.

So usually i start my approach with, "Hi, Are you a poly or college student?". So that i know that i would be hitting on girls in the 18-21 range. When I asked her that she froze and looked very creeped and she didnt even look at me. She was trying to get her earpiece out of her bag. Then i repeated the question and she very quietly replied no. So I said "oh thats cool, I saw you and just wanted to say that you looked hot." And she did not reply anything and stormed off.

That was the coldest rejection that i have faced so far. But i felt good. I was beaming. I walked with a huge ass smile on my face knowing that holy shit i had the balls to do that. I still have a lot to learn. I need to stop ejecting out of sets when they get stale and i need to learn how to keep the fire of the set going.
