So basically I've been working a desk job for the past two years, and have been mostly devoid of social interaction besides my family and close friends. I was using mostly online dating, but it's clear that it doesn't work for me (if you're interested as to why ask and I'll explain). As a result, my social skills have mostly atrophied, and I haven't really tried to pick up girls in person for years, since I was underage and in a completely different social situation. Over the past few weeks I've been turning that around.
Back in college, I remember at parties you could talk to someone for an hour or even hours and just bullshit at a function, now it seems the best you can do is get 5 or 10 minutes before someone else jumps in or the person goes and finds their friends, that goes for both girls and guys. It's a great way to be exposed to many people, but I feel like I can't get a deep connection with anyone. So I usually just grab their snap when I can, and I feel like it's less weird to ask for a snap or insta after 5 or 10 minutes of talking than a phone number. I'm doing this with mostly girls, but some guys too cause it's always cool to make new friends, and it can certainly pay off some day.
So now the question is this - it's the day after the function. The girls who's snaps I have may or may not have seen my story. Do I snap them the day after? wait a few days? I know some of you guys might say wait until they snap me but it hasn't happened yet, it's clear to me that if I want it to happen I have to take some initiative. Do I reply to their story, or just straight up ask them how they're doing? Like I know this is basic, but the last time I was doing this I had a phone you had to press 7 four times to type an "s" and we were all underage.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
