Go look at any thread in r/relationships and see how many girls immediately lose attraction for their boyfriends when he opens up about past trauma, insecurities or depression.

Being soft compromises your ability to provide stability for her. Women do not give a fuck about a man's emotions they want you to be her rock to weather her storms on.

Do not listen to women blab about liking men that are in touch with their emotions. It's just virtue signaling.

You don't need to bring up anything negative about yourself during the dating stage. But if it's something simple like being shy then it's ok. Just wait till she is head over heals for you before you open up to her. That way she'll more likely be able to look past it. Just focus on hanging out and having fun. Don't make dating/courting harder then it should be.
