No contact and with time it will pass. The griefing period will last. Cry if you need to, heal, don't try to force it. In the meantime work on yourself, go out, meet other girls and when she sees you in a few months, and sees an abundant, cool and alpha guy she will be all over you. Though, you will not want her then anymore. It's the greatest feeling ever.

I'm sorry dude. The girl I liked played with my feelings as she enjoyed the attention. She even admitted this to me after-the-fact. And as I continued to pursue, that's when I had realized how stupid I was for doing so. Her entire friends group pegged me as a creep, including her. It was so bad that it reached my friend group.

I was so invested as well. I know it's not exactly the same. But the pain is similar. I felt alone ... as I always had.

Depression is real, and it is here as well. You didn't get the outcome you desired. Regardless, everything you felt is valid, as is everything you feel now.

For the example above, I ended up taking on a quality I discovered within her ... I began solo hiking all over. Found myself an identity in the experience. Maybe there was something about her that you liked that you felt you were lacking yourself?

Cease all contact or at least minimise it as much as you can. Right now it's gonna feel like the shit mood will last forever but try to move on. Talk to different girls etc.

That is what mother nature, biology and 50 million years of evolution intends for you to feel when you fail at mating and reproducing.

Things like this are supposed to hurt because it teaches you not to do it again or improve so it won't happen again.

Same with physical pain. Cave man picks up a hot log out of a fire and he burns himself and damages the skin in his hand. This leaves him injured, possibly with an infection. The body sends a pain signal to the brain and he understands he must be smarter, faster, strong etc etc whatever he needs to be to not feel physical pain again.

Mother nature is saying "Your genes weren't good enough for her. Be better" and you are experiencing depression because of it.

Once you look at life as a series of brain functions trying to make you reproduce and feel certain emotions you will understand how to not be consumed by said emotions.

It starts with one hour at a time. Don’t even think in days. Begin with an hour a day being as productive as you can possibly be. If it’s working out do that, studying something to further your career do that. Personal hygiene and cleaning things do that. Watching pick up artist videos online do that. Just make sure you are “staying busy” that’s the main goal. When you are in reality too busy for women and game it will become easier knowing your time is limited and valuable. Women will also sense that and feel a pressure to please you. Good luck and keep moving forward.

Why are you depressed?

Your happiness was dependent on her. Stop that. Stop feeling down. It's just a feeling. Go do something productive, workout or something.

She's going to feel that neediness from a mile away. Learn to take care of yourself and be happy on your own first dude. It's simple.

I'm going to reiterate. Stop being needy. You're depressed because some girl you barely knew got with someone else? Neediness. Figure out how to get rid of neediness. If you really want to, you will, if not you'll just continue to complain and be depressed.

You are victim of the fairy tale "there is a perfect person assigned to you, that will accept you as you are and make you happy".

Aside for being magical thinking, it makes you fall in the trap of expecting other people to love you just because you would like it.

After you expect/hope them to love you, you get a sense of ownership, or entitlement to that person, and a hope that they will reciprocate.

Is that hope and sense of entitlement what hooks you.

You have to really accept that that person is not for you, and you do not deserve her.

Is not that you are too bad person to deserve her. Is just that you don't deserve her no matter what. No matter how appreciated, how heroic, how nice, how good of a person you are. You simply do not have a title over her. You won nothing over her.

Say to yourself "I do not deserve her". ACCEPT it. Relax your stomach. Accept it fully. You will never have her, you will never fix it, you will never get better on this eyes. Even if she admires you some day, she still will not be yours.

Accept it completely. Accept the worst implications. Accept anything.
