So I this whole week I've been noticing this really pretty girl at the gym, I guess we go around the same times. Anyways yesterday I felt like she kept looking at me and I caught her staring at me and I maintained eye contact for a few moments and gave her a smile and she smiled back. I was looking for a good time to approach her without getting in the way of her workout and there was a great opportunity while we were both at the lockers....but I chickened out. I felt horrible afterward because I knew I had a golden opportunity and I just let it slip.

When I went back to the gym today, there she was. Even though I was shitting myself I told myself it's now or never, took a deep breath and said hi. We just chatted for a minute and I asked her if she wanted to grab a coffee. Unfortunately, she said she had a boyfriend which I feel kinda bummed about. We chatted a bit more and I wished her a good day.

I'm proud of myself for finding the courage to approach even though I got turned down. Now I won't have to wonder what if and I feel so much better than I did yesterday. I've been reading lots of your guys' posts and that's what kept going through my mind the whole time and what ultimately gave me that push I needed - so thank you all!
