I recently just got a job doing some on-the-ground marketing in which I was pretty much given the job of wandering around the city trying to give out free branded stuff. The first day was pretty awkward and I was socially exhausted after about 45 mins. I’m a pretty quiet dude who’s always had a short social battery. But man by the time the weekend was over I was in such a good flow, I was relaxed, yet energetic at the same time and people were very receptive to it. And I probably approached over 700 people in 4 days. I approached everyone hot girls, ugly girls, white guys, black guys, homeless guys, families, everyone. And I’ve learned so much from this experience, it has been eye-opening. Everyone is the same. I’d say 60% were normally nice, they listened what I had to say and then decided if they wanted it or not, 10% just completely ignored me or were kind of rude and 30% ended up being absolutely extatic that I came up to them. Wouldn’t you love if a girl randomly approached you? 9 out of 10 people love getting approached or will at least respect it. Keep this in mind next time you go out.
