Paint me old school, but that type of texting is garbage. Text is for logistics and sexting to build tension and/or reinforce the sexual connection.

My opinion, I don't like texting for small talk. If doesn't accomplish something like a meet-up or plan, then it's like that random lady that always stops you talk about the weather. We know it's not going anywhere and we just want to leave as quick as possible.
