Ask questions, be genuinely curious about her, bring up some interesting topics about you and she'll ask questions about that, FLIRT and TEASE her.

Be confident and get that chest out and back straight. Be serious but fun. More importantly be yourself.

Atleast that's what worked for me.

No you don't need to be high energy to keep a girl's attention. I have very low energy, but my flirting skills are pretty good.

If you're a boring dude, then you need to start learning a flirting style. There are tons, from teasing, bantering, sexual miscommunication, push-pull, cold reading, etc. Just pick one that sounds good to you and learn how to use it casually in conversation. You'll start getting a feel for it and it'll start to come naturally.

Probably one the most basic levels of flirting is when a girl tells you something, just say 'i don't believe you' or if she likes something say 'i hate that.'. Most flirting boils down to being challenging and unpredictable and as a result engaging her emotionally.

I work with a guy who flirts with me. He basically makes fun of me but not in a mean way, it's more playful. For example, when I said "I'll see you tomorrow", he was like "ugh again? It's a good thing they pay me to come in", but with a smile. When I say "thank you", he says "NOT welcome" again though, with a smile. I say "excuse me" and he'll say "there's no excuse for you". It's kind of cute because he only treats me this way, no one else. But he also brings food that he made from home and always asks me to try it and let him know what I think. I'm married, so is he, so I think it's just silly flirtation and I'm not attracted to him BUT I do enjoy the attention. It makes me feel a little special, and THAT is a great way to get a girl's attention.
