Yes great idea if and only if that’s what you’re inspired to do, that is exactly how I approached my freshman year in college and it benefited me my entire time there as a result.. I’ve seen several mentions to being “that guy” the guy I’ve always wanted to be is if I crossed paths with a girl I’m attracted to all we both know for the remainder of our time here on this planet is I said something when I first had the chance. Even if it’s a simple flirty, “what’s your name, where you from, etc, find out what’s she’s doing now/tonight for possible instant date, if not connect on social, have an escalation plan, etc.

This immediately separates you from the rest of the dudes on campus who are trying to act like their “friend” but really are trying to strategize a way to smash. Oh she knows I’m down to smash day 1 I’m just not attached to whether it happens today, tomorrow, a year from now when she’s tired of all the “friends” lol and I’m still “that guy” that was cool with her from day 1.. and VERY IMPORTANT, I have always remained cool with her every time I see her throughout our college experience, she’s giving me a big hug, all the other girls around see that, gives comfort and social proof to them.. it’s always on their timing but my intentions are always clear. Just be playful and have fun with it, if you’re enjoying approaching you have a wonderful full crop of options to enjoy from a population of 10,000. Don’t be a creep and don’t be cold. Just stop trying so hard. Be yourself. I know it’s cliche but that’s what I notice with a lot of guys. We tend to try to be something we aren’t to get noticed when in reality, if we just be who we are, females tend to line us a lot more. Plus being yourself will attract the right females
