So I join in and start dancing with these hot girls and one start grinding up against me, so she’s my target. I’ve learnt that I’m not supposed to hit on multiple girls when they see so I don’t try to hit on any other girl.

I hold her hips, her shoulders, put my head close to hers, spin her, she spins me, she spins so we face each other, hold her hips, deep eye contact. I’m completely calm the whole time and I feel like I’m playing all my cards right, and she seems totally into it.

She leaves and start dancing with some other people at least once, but I don’t chase. Meanwhile her hot friend practically pulls me to the side and start dancing and talking to me, asking where I’m from and stuff. I mostly just talk to her a bit and hold her side while dancing with her but not obviously hitting on her like I did with my target. I can’t hear her very well so I ask her if she wants to go outside to talk, but she says she won’t go home with anyone.

After a while we go back to the group and my target comes back and starts dancing with me again. She still seems as into it. I’ve danced with her for maybe s total of 30 min and the night is almost over so I ask her for her number. She says ”let’s wait with that”.

There are kind of two hazing weeks at my uni coming up so there will be a party at the same dance floor like every night for two weeks almost. I stay unreactive to her reply and ask her if she will be here a lot during the hazing weeks. She says yes. She doesn’t seem bothered or awkward or uncomfortable, just pretty neutral. Then I leave.

Why wouldn’t she give me her number? Are these girls attracted to me or are they just playing me? Did I fuck up? Any thoughts?
